Henry and Richard Blackaby have taken principles from their popular "Experiencing God" book of a few years ago and have condensed it into a 40-day devotion guide.

The guide is an excellent supplement to your Bible reading. While the booklet is tailored towards a small group Bible study, individual study is also appropriate. The booklet is broken down into 7 sessions:

1. God Is Always at Work.

2. God Pursues.

3. God's Invites.

4. God Speaks.

5. A Crisis of Belief.

6. Major Adjustments.

7. Knowing God.

Throughout the chapters there are symbols that represent opportunities for group members to interact with each other. The symbols represent:

1. Community - interact and learn about one another.

2. Truth - help the reader examine Bible passages.

3. Challenge - apply biblical truthes to life.

4. Love - show love and concern for one another and for people outside the group. Also reflect on God's love for them and their love for God.

5. Prayer - communicate to God about a need revealed during the session.

6. Knowledge - help understand the meaning of Scripture.
